Your Path to a Bachelor's Degree
Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.
The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum
The Medical Laboratory Technician associate degree program at Delaware Tech prepares the student who wishes to find employment as a medical laboratory technician in hospital laboratories, independent clinical laboratories, physicians' offices, or community health agencies. Graduates also can be employed as a technician in research centers, pharmaceutical or biomedical laboratories, or as a quality control technician in food processing or manufacturing companies. The program is fully accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Wilmington University's degree completion program in Health Sciences is for Allied Health practitioners who have earned an Associate's Degree with an Allied Health concentration. This degree is intended for students who have an interest in healthcare roles which provide managerial, educational, and/ or clinical expert direction as well as attracting those students on a pathway toward graduate study. The Health Sciences program intends to stimulate continued professional development and advancement toward graduate education.

If a student graduates from Delaware Tech with 74 credits they must add another Free Elective at Wilmington University. - Suggested Free Elective courses are courses in: Economics, Finance, Life Span Development, and Public Speaking. These courses can be taken at Delaware Tech or Wilmington University. - Students may wish to consider Health Information Technology Certificate - When Choosing an Upper Level Health Science Elective students may want to choose a course in Genetics
